Hello, I'm Rebecca, the person behind Hazelwood Grove.

If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that gardens are about so much more than plants.

They're places where conversations happen.

Where children discover nature.

Where families gather around a table.

Where friends celebrate life's milestones.

Where we slow down, take a deep breath, and remember what really matters.

My love of gardening has grown into so much more than a hobby. It has become a way of connecting with people, building community, and creating spaces that bring joy.

Through Love Grow Eat, I've had the privilege of encouraging others to grow their own food, share seeds, learn new skills and discover the confidence that comes from putting your hands in the soil. Again and again, I've seen how gardens have a way of bringing people together.

Hazelwood Grove is the next chapter of that journey.

It's the dream of creating a place where flowers bloom through every season, where couples begin their married life together, where families celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, where workshops inspire new gardeners, and where people can simply wander, breathe, and reconnect with nature.

I'm building Hazelwood one step at a time.

As a solo mum, I know that worthwhile things aren't created overnight. They take patience, determination, and the courage to keep believing even when the finish line still feels a long way off.

That's why the Friends of Hazelwood community means so much to me.

You're not just supporting the creation of gardens.

You're helping build a place where memories will be made, friendships will grow, and future generations can experience the beauty and peace that gardens have always given me.
